Dylan Caldwell – Head of Family

  • Qualified as a solicitor in 2020
  • Graduated with a first-class law degree.

Dylan leads our Family Law department. He appears regularly in court, offering legal assistance with divorce, financial remedy, and child-contact disputes. Dylan also helps clients with separation and pre-nuptial/post-nuptial agreements.

He provides specialist advice for pension sharing on divorce, working closely with actuaries and financial advisers to ensure a fair division and protect his clients’ long-term retirement interests, His experience includes advising clients across a range of schemes including:

    • NHS, Teachers’ and Armed Forces pensions
    • Local Government and Civil Service schemes
    • Defined benefit and defined contribution private pensions
    • Self-invested personal pensions (SIPPs)

Dylan also undertakes all types of Residential Conveyancing matters, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity, and has considerable experience in that area. This can be helpful in divorces and separations, streamlining the process by one solicitor handling both the divorce/separation and the conveyancing.

An excellent communicator, Dylan can explain complex issues clearly and concisely. He enjoys a great rapport with clients and is known for his enthusiastic approach.

Matt Viner – Head of Dispute Resolution

Matt deals with dispute resolution specialising in personal injury claims, housing disputes, debt collection, boundary issues, employment law (for both employees and employers) and general litigation.

He also has extensive knowledge of the conveyancing process and is known for his meticulous approach. He deals with all aspects of residential and commercial property.

Matt’s combined litigation and conveyancing experience makes him the perfect choice to deal with property disputes.

Deborah Yearnshire – Head of Wills, Probate & Trusts

• Joined the firm in 2016

Deborah has been practising in the local area for more than 20 years. She offers structured support, often when most needed, in a kind and sympathetic manner.

She has considerable experience in preparing Wills; advising on succession and Inheritance Tax planning and in the creation of Trusts. Deborah deals with preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney, obtaining Deputyship Orders from the Court of Protection and all aspects of Probate.

Deborah also deals with all aspects of residential conveyancing.

Paul O’Donnell – Head of Conveyancing

Paul leads a thriving property and commercial team which advises a broad range of clients including individuals; businesses; land owners; local authorities and property development companies on a broad range of issues including:

  • easements
  • planning

He is a member of the Institute of Licensing.
